Few weeks ago my workstation failed to boot. I was not able to update my blog, still have not sorted it out and not sure
if I am able to, guess I will need to think about new system, but the post is not about it that’s for sure. Prior to that unfortunate event I was working on Docker image for Palm OS 3.1 - palmos.sdk.3.1
which is based on my experimental wolf3d/debian.4.0-etch image. In the process of making all this - quick & dirty Bash script for Debian was born https://github.com/wolf3d/debian-scripts/blob/master/setup-palmos-sdk. By default it setups Palm OS 3.1 development environment.
I managed to setup github repository for “Neko for Pilot” https://github.com/wolf3d/neko-for-pilot, originally developed by Hoshi Takanori. I found sources from http://web.archive.org/web/20080506160059/http://www.sra.co.jp/people/hoshi/neko.html, it needs Palm OS 3.1 to compile, and integration with Travis CI - https://travis-ci.org/wolf3d/neko-for-pilot .
It even has its first release which builds with success, yay - Build Status I am planning to make setup-palmos-sdk script more universal - so eventually one could setup any Palm OS version with it.
